About Painting for Miracles

Seven years ago we had an idea about helping sick and injured children. The idea blossomed into a fall event called “Painting for Miracles” and, thanks to our sponsors and auction event donors, we have raised over $80,000 in our first six years. 100% of the money we raise goes directly to the Children’s Miracle Network at UC Davis Children’s Hospital, which provides state-of-the-art, lifesaving care for children from California and surrounding states. Their advancements in medicine and care are shared worldwide, giving our program a global impact.

In this, our 7th year, “Painting for Miracles” has taken root and has become a year-round program. Here are some of the ways you can become involved:

Early November – Annual Program Kickoff
As Needed – UC Davis Children’s Hospital tours
Early June – Artists / Painting for Miracles Art Show Silent Auction and Mixer
Second Weekend in September – Paint Weekend
Last Saturday in September – Silent Auction and Art Show Season Finale

The stories about the children, the artists who bring them to life, and the sale of those paintings are all the foundation for the success we’ve had. We need the help of businesses like yours to reach our goal for 2011. Here are the ways you can get involved:

Sponsor an artist - each artist at Paint Weekend receives the story of a critically ill child that was helped by the Children’s Miracle Network. They paint from the inspiration in the story, and these works of art are sold at the September auction.
Sponsor the event - we offer a variety of VIP sponsorship levels, so there is something for everyone. We can also customize your sponsorship to ensure that the benefits are in alignment with your business goals.
Make in-kind contributions - from the boards and paint for the artists to the food served on paint weekend and at the event, every item donated represents a savings on our budget.
